Golf
course with a beautiful lake scenery in Kangasniemi
PuulaGolf
Ltd has built a golf course on the shores of Lake Puula. The course
location, Kangasniemi, is a popular summer holiday destination just over two
hours drive away from Helsinki. Kangasniemi offers wonderful lake sceneries,
high quality rental cottages, varying outdoor activities and cultural
experiences.
The
golf course is a mixture of forest and lake views with an height
variation of about 30 metres. The forested area surrounding the fairways
will be thinned creating a pleasant and safe environment to enjoy golf.
The
course has been designed by architect Pekka Sivula (SAFA) who is well known
in Finland for his golf course designs. The first phase the project was to complete the first nine holes. The second phase will expand the course to
18 holes. A significant detail for PuulaGolf Ltd shareholders is that
PuulaGolf Ltd owns the land on which the course is being built.

Membership
The
fourth set of membership shares are currently available for PuulaGolf
Ltd. One person membership costs €3250, family membership (2 adults and
children under 21 years) €6750 and a corporate membership (entitles 3
representatives to play at one time) €11000, (2
representatives) €7750. The number of membership
shares available at this point in time is 200. Few shares for €8250
are still available for investment purpose. The preliminary purchase of the
membership shares can be completed via the linked form. The preliminary
purchase finishes 15th September
2008 the latest.

A
golf club, PuulaGolf ry has been established to manage golf activities on
the course. PuulaGolf ry will organise teaching and training as well as
competitions and corporate golf days and other golf related events.
The membership application for PuulaGolf ry can be accessed from the
following link. As a member association of Finnish Golf Union, PuulaGolf ry
will maintain the handicap scores for its own members.
